Fox Broadcasting Company Threatens NMATV Over "Family Guy" Video

New Media Alliance Television ( www.nmatv.com ) is standing firmly behind the American Family Association ( http://www.black-and-right.com/wp-content/uploads/fox-action-alert-letter.pdf)boycott of PepsiCo, ( http://www.boycottpepsico.com/) as well as their FCC complaint drive ( https://secure.afa.net/afa/activism/TakeAction.asp?id=349 ) against the Fox Broadcasting Company sexually offensive, anti-Family, anti-Christian content included in a recent airing of The Family Guy cartoon.

FBC has threatened (via email) NMATV for copyright infringement, while failing to acknowledge the videos legal use being coveredby The Copyright Act of 1976 Fair Use provision.(http://www.copyright.gov/title17/92chap1.html)

The video segment, uploaded to NMATV, was embedded onto theAFA website (http://www.afa.net/familyguy.htm) , in which criticism, and comments were included.

NMATV was also the subject of an online attack during theafternoon of March 26, 2007 after Bob Parks, NMATV Executive Director, refused an email demand (from an unknown person) to immediately remove the video.
