Devout Muslim Murders Christian In Iraq

There has been another attack against the Christian community in Mosul, some 390 kilometres north of Baghdad. A masked armed commando group burst into a musical instrument store and assassinated the owner, a man of about fifty, and seriously injured his nephew. The news was released by Iraqi police sources, according to which over the last few days there have been close to fifteen people killed in the current violent campaign against the religious minority.

In Iraq Christians make up only three percent of the 28 million inhabitants.
