THE Government is discussing with airport operators plans to introduce a screening system that allows security staff to focus on those passengers who pose the greatest risk.

The passenger-profiling technique involves selecting people who are behaving suspiciously, have an unusual travel pattern or, most controversially, have a certain ethnic or religious background.

The system would be much more sophisticated than simply picking out young men of Asian appearance. But it would cause outrage in the Muslim community because its members would be far more likely to be selected for extra checks.

Before the hate mail comes in, this has to be done. Not all Muslims are terrorist, but 99.9 % of terrorists ARE MUSLIM. This is a FACT.

It would seem to me that the "Good Muslims" would like this idea, because it would protect THEM AS WELL FROM A "BAD MUSLIM" blowing bodies apart for Allah.

Let me take another approach to this. Why are the "Good Muslims" offended by the fact that terrorists Muslims can be stopped? And again if you are a good law abiding Muslim, what's the problem with being searched?

Yes Muslims are being singled out, why shouldn't they be? On September 11th, 19 Muslims killed 3000 Americans, INCLUDING MUSLIMS. In Sudan, Muslims have killed Millions, INCLUDING MUSLIMS.

If you as Muslims are asking "Why are we being targeted?" , you are either dillusional, or are a part of a bigger problem.
