Terror suspects 'eager to bring death to Jews'

'A fireball that would make the country gasp': No bail for suspects in plot to bomb Bronx synagogues

A fourth homegrown terror suspect was ordered held without bail Thursday in the plot to blow up Bronx synagogues and shoot down a plane at upstate Stewart Air Force Base.

Prosecutors branded the gang as bloodthirsty anti-Semitic killers after the last of the suspects was arraigned at a brief hearing in federal court.

"It's hard to envision a more chilling plot to bring mass murder to a . . . community," said Eric Snyder, an assistant U.S. attorney.

"These are extremely violent men," he added. "These are people who are eager to bring death to Jews."
