THIS CHRISTMAS: WWIII = 2 MESSIAHS AT WAR?

J. Grant Swank, Jr.

Iran’s messiah will return again to rule in universal peace. Iran must drop the bomb to bring it about. Islam’s messianic return can only occur when the globe is in chaos—plagues, suffering, utter turmoil.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes that Mahdi, Muhammad ibn Hasan, will come back to this globe. He is the spiritual descendant of Prophet Mohammed, having disappeared as the 12th Imam. That was in the 9th century when the messiah was only 5 years old.

The Islamic messiah is waiting in the wings for apocalyptic anguish to envelop the globe. Then he will pierce the skies to reign upon Earth.

The Iranian President is not the only one who holds to this cultic creed. This is the belief of the chief sect, "the Twelvers," within Iran’s Muslim population.

Nothing propels mortals more than religious zeal. Cultic zeal even more so. Therefore, it is a given that Iran will bargain for top rung on the world’s power ladder for Allah’s sake. Nothing that the UN or Western voices say will deter Iran from its prime goal: Muslim World Empire over which the coming Islamic messiah will rule in universal peace.

Already, Iran has linked with Syria and Indonesia to form the Muslim World Empire. Hamas, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, Palestinian Authority, Syria, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic zealots agree with Iranian’s global hold. Jordan will be ostracized because of the king’s Western alliances.

The Iranian’s messiah is the devil, the Great Satan, “the old dragon” of the Book of Revelation. He is the fallen Angel of Light—Lucifer—who overrules the Bottomless Pit and Lake of Fire and Brimstone. He was once an angel in heaven but was cast out with other rebellious angels. His abode since has been hell’s fires. The damned dwell with him forever there.

The Koran is the devil’s book, laced with killing and maiming passages against the infidels—the non-Muslims. “Moderate and secular “ Muslims say these passages are read out of “context” by non-Muslims. Not so. The present-day “contexts” of same are Norway, Denmark, Israel, Britain, Australia, America, France, Germany, Russia and any other geographies now threatened by Allah devotees.

Mosques are demonic centers, no matter if they propagandize otherwise. Clerics are likewise. Sleeper cells hold these Islamic killers until the signal is given to establish the Muslim World Empire.

Presently, Iran holds the planet hostage with its nuclear threat. Iran will drop the bomb to invite the messiah to reign. Then free countries will have to respond. Or free countries will rid Iran of its potential and thus forestall the Muslim World Empire agenda.

Biblical Christians have faith that Christ will return again to this planet which He created. He will rule for a thousand-year peace reign—the millennium. His capital city will be Jerusalem. Now Hamas predicts to take that city for the Islamic capital. The devil wars already for Jerusalem so that Christ cannot rule from it.

Biblical Christians believe that Christ will return after a global chaotic time frame. Christ predicted same in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 13. Also, in His vision to John the apostle in the Book of Revelation Christ symbolically represented happenings to take place prior to His return. Ezekiel 36 – 38 adds further detail.

Such Christ predictions include wars and rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, pestilence, familial breakdown, false messiahs, increase of sin, martyrdom and the gospel preached worldwide. One of the present-day false messiahs is the Islamic messiah vying for Christ’s domain.

Biblical Christians believe that Christ will return at the height of the Battle of Armageddon to take place in the northwestern section of Israel—the Valley of Megiddo. All nations of any account will have sent militia there for the final fight of the Church Age. Then Christ will leave the right hand of God the Father, returning through the Earth’s atmosphere with angels and the redeemed of all time.

When near the Earth’s surface, Christ will speak the word and thus win the Armageddon Battle. The slain will be eaten by the vultures of the air. Christ will return to the Mount of Olives where His feet will split the Mount in half—representing His almighty power. He will appear as King of Kings and Lord of Lords—king for politics and lord for religion.

As it was religion and politics that slew him on Calvary’s Cross, so He will then rule as chief politic and chief lord of the planet He brought into being. Christ’s redeemed souls of all time will reign with Him as kings and priests—politic and religion.

Satan will be cast into the Bottomless Pit for the millennial time frame, after which he will be loosed for a short time. He will amass an army to combat Christ in Jerusalem. However, fire will fall from heaven to consume that army, Satan then cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone where the Antichrist and False Prophet will be awaiting him.

Then Earth will be dissolved, the damned consigned to hell forever and the redeemed to heaven forever. That heaven is spoken of as the New Heaven and New Earth in the Book of Revelation.

Right now we are nearing the close of the Church Age. The false messiah of Islam is erected by Muslims as the planet’s hope and with that they hold the globe hostage. However, Christians believe what the Bible states: “The battle is the Lord’s.”

There are Christians who believe that present-day tsunamis, natural disasters and increasing earthquakes are means by which Christ is displaying his anger against Earth’s sin increase.

Christians know that the false messiah will be overcome. Christ will reign supremely. In the meantime, the prophesies of the Bible must unfold and they do include martyrdom and suffering on behalf of the Christians, that taking place now.

The future holds much anxiety for those without hope in Christ. It holds much anticipation for those holding to the coming Victor Christ.
