Let Us Hear From You!

“Currently, there are Islamic terrorist websites being hosted by American internet service providers. Federal law prohibits American internet service providers from hosting such websites. Moreover, late last year the White House released a Homeland Security policy paper that called for shutting down these large terrorist websites.

However, there are those in the intelligence community who want to keep these websites open, arguing that doing so provides valuable, 'actionable intelligence'. Opposing that view are some leaders in government, such as Senator Joseph Lieberman of the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, who argue that very little actionable intelligence is gathered. Further, what intelligence is gained is not worth allowing Islamic terrorists the powerful ability to communicate, network, develop bombs, recruit and train online to attack targets in the West, especially here in America.”
