the first chilling look at Brooklyn terrorist wannabe Russell Defreitas, courtesy of surveillance tape from the local diner where he allegedly plotted to blow up JFK Airport.
The purported mastermind of an international conspiracy to rival 9/11 was caught by security cameras at Brooklyn's Lindenwood Diner minutes before he was snatched by the feds Friday.
Wearing a drab, dark, loose-fitting tunic that stretched to his calves, a beaded necklace and skull cap, Defreitas sat with a male companion, the FBI informant who helped crack the case.
The informant, wearing a white djellaba, is seen gesturing with his hands as he speaks, though it's impossible to discern what the pair is talking about.
Pathetically, at the end of their meal, Defreitas, a naturalized U.S. citizen who harbors Osama bin Laden fantasies, seemingly couldn't buy his own dinner.

It's the informant who walks to the cashier and pays the check, while Defreitas, a 65-year-old retired cargo handler at JFK, is nowhere to be seen.
The pair are seen then walking out of the restaurant together. Defreitas, who openly worried whether the feds were watching him, was busted by authorities minutes later.

records released yesterday paint a picture of Defreitas as a down-on-his-luck lug, even as authorities continued to insist he intented to kill thousands.
According to a financial affidavit, Defreitas said he only has $50 to $70 to his name.
