IRAQ: BUSH STILL DOESN’T GET IT

President George W. Bush’s news conference on Wednesday once again reveals that the Chief Executive still does not get it.

First, extremist Muslim slaughtering street gangs rule Iraq’s future. No other variable will weigh in on that country’s tomorrows. None.

Second, extremist Muslims throughout the world do not live for peace but for killing. Therefore, it takes but a small number of same to do in a democracy plant. That takes place daily in Iraq and will continue till the end of time.

Third, extremist Muslims believe solely in Allah’s Koran with its murder and maim verses paramount. It is a crazed religious contingent that freedom warriors are fighting. It is not an opposing politic but a fanatic religious element.

Mr. Bush does not realize that those few extremist Muslim street gangs given to a cultish mindset will win in Iraq, not the US and friendly coalition forces.

It is so sad that the Bush administration did not do an Islamic religion study on Iraq prior to Operation Iraqi Freedom. If that Islamic religious study had been performed in-depth, it would have revealed the Islamic theocracy that rules a Muslim society.

Mr. Bush and his colleagues believe they are dealing with an enemy politic. They are not. They are confronted by an enemy politic/theology. It is the “theology” dimension that Mr. Bush does not get.

Probably it will take a Democrat win in the Oval Office, unfortunately, to bring a total end to the Iraq war. I had never dreamt as a Republican that I would agree with a Democrat position on anything.

But now is the day.
