"Faith in humanity." That’s what Rosie said today on The View.
Faith in humanity? What’s that mean but nothing but the old, worn theological liberalism? That means that humanity includes Hitler, Stalin and Hussein. Are they not part of "humanity"?
Stop it, Rosie. Clam up, for God’s sake. And that is to be taken theologically.
But where Rosie really went off was equating "radical Christianity" with "radical Islam." That female is so dastardly wrong for any TV program. The View had better get the sharp point. Rosie is going to kill the show. She’s going to "Islamic" the show!
She’s already done it — today.
While Rosie was characteristically rudely interrupting others on the show, Barbara Walters’ face hung glum. Like "Where is this, my show, going to slide down?" It’s going to slip off the telecast. In Trash Can Maximum. And rightly, quickly so.
At least two others at the table responded by correcting Rosie as Barbara kept her countenance in limbo. The other two women’s reasonable conclusion spoken outright was that Christians of any stripe are not killing anybody. Islamics are out to kill everybody, even their own if their own prove cowardly.
I know that this era is confusing and getting more so. But to add Slam-Bam-Prejudicial Loud Mouth Rosie to the American telecastscape is insane TV. She should join the Taliban.
If Barbara doesn’t yank that girl to the naughty stool, The View will parallel Springer’s worst.
Rosie spoke with such ignorant, repulsive, warped conviction — on worldwide TV!
As a Christian, I must phone the ACLU to sling Rosie into court. She is indeed a present danger to all logical Americans, particularly Christians.

Rosie - you swallowed the Hollywood anti - listen to your own words. Do you really think Christianity and Islamic extremity are the same?

Anonymous, I speak with people at work that have this same attitude. The number of people that believe this, in my opinion, is astonishing. I am a fundamental Christian. Feed the hungry, help the needy, you know the deal. A fundamental Muslim will fight for allah in order to recieve a higher place in Islamic heaven. Whether one is an athiest or whatever. Compare the lives of Jesus and Mohammed and the outcome will be simple. Jesus did not kill a soul, Mohammed was a killer.
