Joel Pett is a left-wing cartoonist whose cartoons frequently skirt the edge of offensive.
Now, Joel has chosen to capitalize on the death of Steve Irwin to make yet another attack on Bush.
If this makes you angry and you would like to contact the editorial board or Mr. Pett himself, here's some contact information.
I do not advocate profanity, abuse, or anything that is or may be perceived as illegal. But Mr. Pett and the Herald-Leader deserve to hear from the numbers of us who are outraged about this obscene comic.

Mr. Pett responded to my email telling him to use the death of someone to further flame his hatred for the President was immoral and wrong. This is his response.
sorry you didn't like the cartoon...it was intended as a metaphor to show the dangerous waters our president is taking us into, not as any kind of slam on the late croc hunter, who i liked and appreciated for his commitment to wildlifepreservation...thnx for writing

Mr. Pett , do you think it would be acceptable to draw a cartoon of your mother when she dies in a pool of stingrays because I dislike John Kerry's political actions?
