No riots yet from any outraged Muslims about the "hijackers of Islam" waging holy war (although bloodless takeover ACCORDING TO THE B.B.C..... ) in Mohammeds name and insulting the Prophet. (We all realize the B.B.C. is a accurate source of info...)

Nairobi_(dpa) _ An Islamic militia seized a key town near Somalia's border with Ethiopia according to media reports Wednesday.
The militia, allied to the Union of Islamic Courts (UIC) that controls most of southern somalia including the capital Mogadishu, reportedly met little resistance in the bloodless takeover of Beletweyne, according to the BBC Wednesday.
Located on the banks of the Shabelle River, Beletweyne is considered to be one of Somalia's breadbasket regions. Its road provides a strategic link between the northern and southern regions of the Horn of Africa country.
The Islamists' spreading influence is in stark contrast to president Abdullahi Yusuf's 14-month old transitional government. Yusuf dissolved his divided cabinet last week after more than 30 cabinet ministers resigned.
The former ministers accused Prime Minister Mohammed Gedi of treason for refusing a power-sharing deal with the Islamists.
