THE DILEMMA FACING THE DEMS

At a time when Dems should be rising in power, they are not and will not.
The Republicans are forging a New Iraq that is over and out. Even President Bush has promised more forces to Baghdad in the face of an impossibility. He is sending our men and women into hell’s furnace to be slaughtered. It’s that simple and scary a scenario. In short, they should never leave our shores. In short, those already there should return to America.

I am not Cindy Sheehan. I am not Ted Kennedy.

Yet it is ironic that I agree with their litany to support our troops by bringing back to their families. But it’s not because of any reasonable alliance with Sheehan and Kennedy that many of us Republicans are saying that loud and clear. It’s because it’s the right thing to do now that Iraq has imploded on its own blood bath.

Therefore, with this Operation Iraqi Freedom engineered by the Republicans, the Dems should have an open road for riding to power — now and in the far-distance future. However, they won’t find that road. And why not? Because they are as bankrupt as they have ever been.

They have no moral platform regarding abortion and sex, for instance. They are heated up on the immoral side of significant issues. They can’t change for a pure ethic for their history is totally against it. Their voices such as Kennedy and Clinton and Clinton are still as hypocritical as ever. And surely the whole world knows it by now, even the Dems.

Their Dean Howard, Chairman of the Dem defeated, has nothing to say but more bellicose and disturbance. He rocks the brain undone. He rips the heart in half. There is nothing leadership quality in the man and never will be. Yet he represents the finest the Dems have to offer America?

So in the hour when Dems could be moving forward on the high road of resolve and legitimate might, they can’t move their little fingers to write the simplest platform for foreign and domestic excellence. Not a paragraph.

That is why there are so many Americans this very day who are lost. They have no home. They are in search of a baseline. The Republicans have led them into an Iraqi implosion with young blood splattered all over mosques, neighborhoods and cities dedicated to the devil of gods — Allah.

The Dems have remained mute while witnessing the chaos in Iraq. Yet unable to speak an intelligent word, the party remains as stupid as ever.
Where then have the moral, intelligent Americans to find refuge?

That’s the present problem to those who still fly the red, white and blue — and mean it with all their broken hearts.
