The hostility between the Arabs and the Jews goes all the way back to Abraham. The Jews are descendants of Abraham’s son Isaac. The Arabs are descendants of Abraham’s son Ishmael.
With Ishmael being the son of a slave woman and Isaac being the promised son who would inherit the promises to Abraham , obviously there would be some animosity between the two sons. As a result of Ishmael mocking Isaac , Sarah talked Abraham into sending Hagar and Ishmael away .
Likely this caused even more contempt in Ishmael’s heart towards Isaac. An angel even prophesied to Hagar that Ishmael would “live in hostility toward all his brothers” .
Hostility of the jews towards Islam goes a long way back. Just to remind you, Abaraham was a Muslim, Moses was a Muslim, Jesus was a Muslim and last of all prophets Muhammad {May the blessings of 'Allah' be upon him and to all the other prophets before him].
ReplyDeleteThat is a stupid comment. If Muhammad was alive around 600 AD, how can you possibley say that Abaraham or Jesus were Muslims? It is my belief that it is not the Muslim people that are crazy, it's just the mental midgets that follow Islam. Clearly, most Islamic people have never read the Bible, or they would convert.
