Amanpour whitewashes jihad and smears Jews and Christians
Global Jihad: CNN's chief apologist for Islam, Christiane Amanpour, has gone too far this time. Not content to just whitewash jihad, she says Jews and Christians are terrorists, too.
According to her new three-part series, "God's Warriors," militant Islamists are really no different than right-wing Christians or Jews. So who are we in the West to judge?
Of course, it's cultural relativism — and journalism — at its worst. What's stunning is the lack of evidence Amanpour provides to support her case.

That CNN would give her six prime-time hours to peddle such tendentious trash to a public still under real threat from Islamic terror speaks volumes about the network's agenda.

Marry a Non - Muslim and Die
M Kaur, her full identity hidden for safety, is a Sikh girl from Malaysia. She met her husband four years ago in UK (United Kingdom) while studying at the university. He was a student from Pakistan and a Muslim.

Due to the increasing magnitude of harassment and the threats, Ms. Kaur decided to leave Pakistan within three weeks of arriving and came back to UK. A few days before this, young men hiding their faces in scarves, with their beards showing underneath and threatening that he will be killed soon, beat up her husband quite badly. Fearing for their lives family (in-laws) went into hiding.
The Sikh wife, while in UK, appealed to the Amnesty International and the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take note of their situation, but none of the newspapers printed her story due to fear of a Taliban reprisal.
Murtads or infidels who change their religion are punishable by death penalty in Pakistan’s Shariat courts.

Two thousand girls a year suffer genital mutilation
The annual female genital mutilation season in Guinea-Bissau begins when schools close for the winter holidays from July to September. The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) estimates that each year the parents of around 2,000 girls send them to "fanatecas" to be ritually circumcised.

Guinea-Bissau's Muslim ethnic groups comprise 46 percent of the population and all of them practice genital mutilation: among the Fula, the procedure consists of excising the clitoris and the labia; the Beafada and the Mandigo remove only the clitoris.

Altogether Afghanistan now accounts for 93% of global production, and insurgents are actively promoting the trade to earn money, the report concluded.

Anger at Malaysia 'Jesus cartoon'
Thousands of Christians rioted, burned cars, looted businesses in a rampage that left 10 people dead in Malaysia after a picture of Jesus with a cigarette and a can of beer was published in a newspaper.
The part about the picture is true, the rest is drivel. That got you interested didn't it ?
A Malaysian newspaper is facing calls to shut down after it published an image of Jesus holding a cigarette and what appeared to be a can of beer.
Malaysia's Muslim-led government closed two publications last year for carrying controversial cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

A Sunni leader in the Iraqi province of Diyala, who encouraged his community to confront al-Qaeda in Iraq, has been killed by the group, police say.
The militants exploded a bomb in his house in the town of Kanaan, and fired mortars and rocket-propelled grenades at other houses and a Sunni mosque.
There are conflicting reports, but police in nearby Baquba said a total of 22 civilians died in the dawn attack.
The attackers then seized at least seven people before retreating.
Some of those kidnapped were women and children, residents said.

American intelligence chief confirms 'people are alive' as a result of capture
President Bush's top intelligence aide has confirmed that Iraqi terrorists have been captured coming into the United States from Mexico.
The confirmation comes from National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell, who talked about the situation in an interview with the El Paso Times recently.
"Coming up through the Mexican border is a path," McConnell said. "Now, are they doing it in great numbers? No, because we're finding them and we're identifying them and we've got watch lists and we're keeping them at bay."
But, he said, "There are numerous situations where people are alive today because we caught them (terrorists)."

CAIR blames Justice for its troubles
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) says it is suffering from a decline in membership and fundraising and blames the Justice Department for listing it as an unindicted co-conspirator in a case involving a charity accused of terrorist ties.
CAIR is asking a federal judge to strike it as one of the more than 300 Muslim groups listed as unindicted co-conspirators in the government's case against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, which is currently on trial in Dallas.
"The public naming of CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator has impeded its ability to collect donations as possible donors either do not want to give to them because they think they are a 'terrorist' organization or are too scared to give to them because of the possible legal ramifications of donating money to a 'terrorist" organization," CAIR said in an amicus curiae brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

America's nuclear arsenal maintained an uneasy peace for 50 years during the Cold War.
The leaders of the nuclear-armed Soviet Union knew beyond any shadow of any doubt that a nuclear attack on the U.S. – perhaps its only hope for defeating its archenemy – would lead to an all-out nuclear counter-attack and the virtual destruction of its "workers paradise."
The policy was called MAD, for mutually assured destruction, but there wasn't anything crazy about it. Until Ronald Reagan came along with his idea for an anti-missile strategic defense, this kind of nuclear deterrence was the only thing that saved the U.S. from certain attack.
The Cold War may be over, but the nuclear threat to the U.S. is not.
Russia, despite many arms-control agreements designed to make us safe, still maintains a nuclear arsenal large enough to destroy the U.S. many times over.
China is another growing nuclear power with the capability of destroying some major U.S. cities.
North Korea and other rogue nations are rapidly developing the capacity to target the U.S. with nuclear-armed missiles.
But all of those nation-state threats are mitigated somewhat by the concept of MAD as well as the very primitive stage of a missile defense program begun under Ronald Reagan.

It is important for our enemies to know what the costs will be for an attack on the U.S. It shouldn't be a secret, any more than it was a secret to the Soviet Union.
Osama bin Laden, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the other Hitlers in headscarves who have sworn to bring the U.S. to its knees need to be told, in no uncertain terms, what the consequences of a nuclear or radiological attack on America will mean to them, their people and their so-called holy sites.

Guy Rodgers has nearly 25 years’ experience in the public arena, spanning all facets of the non-profit and political worlds. As a political consultant, he provided leadership and strategic direction to nearly 40 campaigns, including five presidential campaigns and the campaigns of several Members of Congress and state officials. He has been a leader in organizing nationwide grassroots organizations. He is an outstanding communicator and has headed up organizations as diverse as educational foundations and political action committees.

Blind man wins case after cabby refused dog
VANCOUVER - A blind man denied service from a Muslim taxi driver for "religious reasons" has been awarded $2,500, the result of a B.C. Human Rights Tribunal discrimination settlement reached on Friday and made public yesterday.
Bruce Gilmour estimates that Vancouver taxi drivers have passed him over "a hundred times, maybe 150 times" since he acquired his first guide dog in 1984. But an incident one evening last year with North Shore Taxi Ltd. was "the straw that broke the camel's back."

Sometimes it is hard for evangelicals in particular to separate their support of a mortal for public office from their allegiance to the Bible’s God.
What I mean by that is that evangelicals can at times be naïve regarding the testimony of their elected officials. Evangelicals are quick to pick up code language or body language that point to a believer as public person.
Example: Bill Clinton walked with Bible in hand, along with wife, into Sunday morning worship regularly. He spoke of his childhood faith. So did his wife speak of her Methodist upbringing. Evangelicals who were far removed from the Clinton personal history were at times impressed by such verbiage and also such body language as a President carrying the Word into the sanctuary.

We are now planning what will be the largest campus demonstrations ever staged by conservative students for October 22-26. We are calling the event Islamo Fascism Awareness Week. We already have student coordinators on 150 campuses and we are hoping that the event will touch close to 200 universities and colleges across the country. Australian politician Hanson says she wants a ban on Muslim immigration
Far-right Australian politician Pauline Hanson has said that she will target Muslims seeking to come to Australia, while calling for tougher immigration controls during her campaign for a Queensland Senate seat in the upcoming election.
The former fish and chip shop owner, who claims credit for forcing the Howard Government to adopt a harder line on immigration controls more than a decade ago, was quoted by The Courier Mail as saying, "I'd like to have a look at putting a moratorium on any more Muslims coming into Australia."

The "Naqba" Offensive
Israel’s critics have increasingly adopted the term Naqba (or Nakba), which means "catastrophe" in Arabic, to refer to the Jewish state's creation and existence. The idea is that if "Palestinian Arabs" are thought to have suffered as a result of Israel's creation and gaining of independence, then Israel's very existence must be a disaster, a tragedy, one that must be "corrected" and cured through Israel's annihilation.
The far Left has taken the Orwellian rhetoric one step further. Not only is Israel's very existence a "Naqba" or catastrophe, but anyone denying that it is so must be guilty of "Naqba Denial," a new sin discovered by the Left that is on the same par with Holocaust Denial. Indeed, since very few Jews anywhere outside the Left consider Israel's very existence to be a "Naqba," their collective "guilt" in perpetrating "Naqba Denial" is an easy form of exoneration for Holocaust Deniers. After all, why should people be so upset by Holocaust Deniers when the Jews themselves engage in "Naqba Denial"?

Bastard!
Look, it has to be said. There’s no getting around it, and in fact, being aware of it only helps to put everything in proper perspective: Islam is a bastard religion.
I don't mean this in a pejorative sense; I mean it in the primary dictionary sense. Islam tracks its lineage from the birth of a child of unmarried parents.
Now in today’s socio-enlightened climate, being born out-of-wedlock no longer has any real derogatory meaning, and I definitely approve of that societal change. However, I do think it’s an intriguingly sardonic coincidence that a major religion could find its origins in the primary dictionary definition of a word, and then conduct itself according to the secondary dictionary definition of the same word.

A Dutch Catholic bishop has suggested that Christians should refer to God as "Allah" to promote better relations with Muslims.
Bishop Martinus "Tiny" Muskens of Breda told the "Network" television show that "God doesn't really care how we address Him."
Pointing out that "Allah" is a term already used by Christians who speak Arabic, Bishop Muskens said that humans are needlessly divided over such terminology. God, the bishop said, is above such "bickering."
The Dutch bishop admitted that his suggestion was not likely to gain widespread acceptance. But he predicted that within a century or two, Dutch Catholics would be addressing prayers to "Allah."

Georgia Muslim Mayor Supports Hugo Chavez
MACON, Ga. (AP) - Some Macon residents have called for demonstrations and boycotts after the mayor of the middle Georgia city formally reached out to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez with a declaration of solidarity.
Mayor Jack Ellis said the declaration -- sent about two weeks ago by courier -- was a message that local leaders can stand together despite disagreements at the highest reaches of government.
Some local leaders have blasted the mayor's decision to support Chavez -- who is a vocal ally of Iran and Cuba who has called President Bush "the devil."
Former mayoral candidate David Corr said the mayor's comments were "an outrage." And state representative Allen Peake -- a Macon Republican -- said the mayor's action taints the town. He said "We need to be doing things in this community that show the tremendous positives of Macon."

As the trial for the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) continues, the mountain of evidence presented by prosecutors demonstrates, in detail, the existence of a grand Muslim Brotherhood network in the United States dating back to the 1960s. A segment of this network, the self-designated “Palestine Committee,” sought to financially, politically, and morally support the efforts of HAMAS to destroy the “Zionist enemy.”
One exhibit – the Palestine Committee’s 1991 bylaws - reveals a web of key organizations tied to the Committee that were tasked with promoting HAMAS’ agenda, each in a particular field. Six groups were listed, the most prominent being HLF, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), and the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR).
What has so far gone unnoticed, though, is one last organization on this list that the Committee hoped to establish in the future. As stated in the bylaws, this organization would handle “issues relating to political work and foreign relations”:
It is a committee which operates through the Association [IAP] for now. It is hoped that it will become an official organization for political work and its headquarters will be in Washington, God’s willing. It represents the political aspect to support the cause politically on the American front.
An organization headquartered in Washington, DC, tasked with political activism, born out of the IAP? Maybe a vague reference at first glance, but growing evidence points to the identity of the mystery organization listed in the bylaws as the youngest in the family of HAMAS front groups founded on American soil.
Fast forward to July 30, 1994, just weeks after the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) was founded. A Palestine Committee meeting agenda lists several issues to be discussed, including a review of the reports of the “working organizations.” Listed among these organizations right beside HLF, IAP, and UASR – all members of the Palestine Committee as listed in the bylaws – is the word “CAIR."
The same CAIR that is headquartered in Washington, and whose co-founders - executive director Nihad Awad and chairman emeritus Omar Ahmad - served as president and public relations director, respectively, of the IAP.
Add to that recently-released evidence that both Ahmad and Awad were present at a 1993 meeting in Philadelphia attended by two-dozen HAMAS members and supporters. According to an FBI analysis and transcripts of wiretapped conversations, they spent three days discussing the most effective approach to derail the Oslo Accords, a peace deal with the potential to end the decades-old conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.
This latest document tying CAIR to HAMAS is just one more piece of the puzzle, and it raises serious questions about the organization’s political agenda in the United States. Should an organization listed on Muslim Brotherhood documents, with leaders directly tied to the movement, really escape scrutiny and be accepted as the “mainstream” voice of an entire community?
Or should the American public and political establishment take another look?

The organisation advocates Islamic rule and is banned in several Middle Eastern countries.

For these Muslims, polygamy is an option
Clad in his Sunday sweatpants and a long blue Pakistani-style shirt, Ali, a 59-year old African American Muslim elder, popped in a DVD of "Big Love" - the HBO series about Mormon polygamists in Utah.
"Dude's not handling this well at all," he says as he watches Bill Paxton play an overburdened husband with three wives. "You know, I feel sorry for dude."
Ali - who prefers to only use his first name - faces the challenges of polygamy every day. For 10 years, he's been religiously married to two women, and lives with them under one roof in a working-class neighborhood of San Diego. Tuesday through Thursday he sleeps with his wife Hasanah on the first floor, then Saturday through Monday it's upstairs with his second wife Asiila. That leaves his office, cluttered with photocopies of Quranic sayings and dusty pictures of relatives in hijab, as his only private room in the house.

Ali - who prefers to only use his first name - faces the challenges of polygamy every day. For 10 years, he's been religiously married to two women, and lives with them under one roof in a working-class neighborhood of San Diego. Tuesday through Thursday he sleeps with his wife Hasanah on the first floor, then Saturday through Monday it's upstairs with his second wife Asiila. HYDERABAD, India - The controversial Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen will face criminal charges for her “anti-Islamic” views, which have provoked attacks against her by Muslim activists, police said on Monday.
A police official in the southern city of Hyderabad, where outraged Islamic activists flung a bouquet, a satchel and other items at Nasreen Thursday during a press event, said the author faces a charge of hurting Muslim feelings.
“A case was booked against Taslima Nasreen that her anti-Islamic views and writings hurt Muslim sentiments,” city police official L.K. Shinde told AFP.
Under the Indian penal code, promoting “disharmony or feelings of enmity, hatred or ill-will” between groups on the basis of religion is punishable by up to three years in jail.
More than a third (38 percent) of Hyderabad’s 6.5 million population are Muslims.
Police said they filed the case against Nasreen, living in self-imposed exile, at the request of a leader from the regional Muslim party behind the outburst at a release of a translation of the novelist’s latest book Shodh (Getting Even).
Television footage showed activists of the Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen party, aligned with India’s ruling Congress party in the state, hitting Nasreen with flowers and threatening to lob chairs.
A visibly shaken Nasreen was shielded by several organisers and escaped when police arrived and bundled her into a car, witnesses said. They reported slight bruising.
Three legislators from the party were charged with rioting, Shinde said.
Senior party member Akbaruddin Owaisi registered a case against Nasreen hours after the attack, saying she had made rude remarks about Islam.
But on Saturday Owaisi was charged with “intimidation” for calling for a fatwa -- a religious ruling -- against Nasreen.
“A fatwa is existing against Taslima Nasreen,” Owaisi told AFP Monday. “It is a religious responsibility of religious Muslims to abide by it.”
Owaisi appeared to be referring to radical Muslims in Bangladesh who accused her of blasphemy over her debut novel “Lajja” or “Shame” and called for her execution, prompting the author to flee her homeland in 1994 and move to India.
The book depicted the life of a Hindu family persecuted by Muslims in Bangladesh and is banned in Muslim-majority Bangladesh.
In March, an Indian Muslim group from northern Uttar Pradesh state offered a 500,000 rupee (11,319 dollars) bounty for Nasreen’s execution.

Confirmed: Arafat Died of AIDS
Arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat’s doctor has confirmed the long-circulating rumors that the PLO chairman had AIDS – though the doctor insists Israel poisoned Arafat as well, causing his death.
Rumors have long circulated in both Israel and the Palestinian Authority that Arafat’s symptoms prior to his death were caused by AIDS. Within the PA, Israel has always been accused of poisoning the PLO chairman.
Now, Arafat’s private doctor has joined other PLO officials in acknowledging that Arafat had the HIV virus, but is holding on to the claim that Israel was responsible for his ultimate demise, in a French hospital.
Dr. Ashraf al-Kurdi told the Jordanian Amman News Agency that Arafat did, in fact, have AIDS – but insisted that the HIV virus was injected into the chairman’s bloodstream, and not the result of illicit sexual activity.
Al-Jazeera interrupted an interview with al-Kurdi due to his mention of Arafat’s having had AIDS.

A sober show in Berlin offers an introductory treatment — if not a thorough examination — of rising anti-Semitism in Europe and the Middle East since September 11.
When an exhibition on contemporary anti-Semitism opened this month at the Foreign Office in Berlin, Deputy Foreign Minister Gernot Erler said it was “appropriate” that the topic wasn’t squirreled away in a historical museum but on display in the bright atrium of a German ministry.
“Anti-Semitism has sadly not been left where it belongs, in the poison cabinet reserved for the pathogens of hard-to-cure diseases of the past,” he said. “Unfortunately it is a phenomenon of today’s Europe which our foreign policy has to confront as well.”

Lots of folks are asking about the accused killer in the Newark execution-style murders of four young students. Yes, he’s here illegally according to media and law enforcement officials and he just pleaded not guilty this morning. More: “Carranza, who spoke through an interpreter, admitted he was not a U.S. citizen and was staying in the country illegally.” And, yes, he has an extensive rap sheet:
Carranza had at least three prior arrests and was facing an aggravated assault charge in a separate case at the time of the killings, Booker said. According to court records obtained by The Star-Ledger of Newark, Carranza was indicted twice this year — in April on aggravated assault and weapons charges; and in July on 31 counts including aggravated sexual assault of a child younger than 13. He was free on bail on the indictments.

"Innocent" at Haditha
IT’S BEEN MORE THAN A YEAR SINCE JOHN MURTHA charged that U.S. Marines “killed innocent civilians in cold blood” in Haditha. Yesterday, a military commander lifted Murtha’s preemptive conviction.
Last May, John Murtha held a press conference accusing our soldiers of slaughtering 24 Iraqis – including women and children – in the town of Haditha in late November 2005. He guaranteed an investigation would determine “[o]ur troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.” His words ricocheted around the Arab world, as Al Jazeera dutifully quoted him. This “pressure,” Murtha said, could be ended by bringing troops home. The government eventually charged four men with “unpremeditated murder.”

The Islam Project
This is a project run by people like the convert Susan Douglass of the Council on Islamic Education and the Islamic Society of North America. They are very well organized and have been orchestrating this comprehensive educational plan for many years with great success. Douglass has been very active and effective in Islamicizing the curriculum and textbooks used in the California public schools, the largest textbook market in the country and a bellwether for the U.S. This is how programs like the required three week course on Islam for all California 7th graders get implemented.
Check out the extensive list of Islamist organizations working on this project under "Community Engagement." It all looks very innocent and legitimate on the surface. They started in CA in the California public schools, the largest textbook market in the country -- next comes TX; then NY. This must be monitored and stopped.

Start attending school board meetings and learn who is in charge of what areas of curriculum and volunteer, volunteer, volunteer.

Schedule an appointment with your local elected officials, your congressman and senators and present the data you collected from the school. Demand that something be done about it.
Start writing letters to the editors informing them about what is happening in the school system in your community.

Flying Imams Drop Lawsuit Against John Doe's, And Target Police
The six imams who were removed from a US Airways flight in Minneapolis after passengers reported they were acting suspiciously won't include those passengers in their lawsuit against the airline and police, an attorney for the imams said Wednesday.
Attorney Frederick Goetz of Minneapolis said a motion to amend the complaint to include the names of the individuals responsible for the imams' removal was entered Tuesday in U.S. District Court. He said that list includes the names of airline employees and police officers, but no passengers.

Iran Hangs 2 Kurds As "Enemies of God."
Rights watchdog Reporters Without Borders (RSF), says Adnan Hassanpour and Hiva Boutimar were sentenced by a court in the eastern city of Marivan.
The two journalists have 20 days to appeal against their sentences, but if their cases are rejected by the Supreme Court the sentence will be carried out.
Iran has executed over 100 people so far in 2007, most of them by hanging.
A spokesman for the Iranian judiciary said that the two journalists had "taken arms to topple the system".
No further details were released about the reasons for their sentencing, but the two are members of the Kurdish minority.
