What problem ?

KNOW ISLAM
The first biographers of Muhammad’s life are Ibn Ishaq and al-Tabari, who provide the original and ONLY valid history of Muhammad and Islam. Much later, Bukhari put together a collection of Hadith, Traditions or News, which is regarded as being as valid as the Qur’an itself. The information of these three historians is the only information we have, the only real evidence of the truth about Muhammad and Islam.
Ibn Ishaq’s ‘Sirat Rasul Allah’ was written 120 years after Muhammad’s death in 750 A.D. It was translated as ‘The Life of Muhammad’ by Alfred Guillaume, and is available from Oxford Press.
His original text was edited and censored by Ibn Hisham in 830.
Ibn Hisham said, “I am omitting things which Ishaq recorded in this book. I have omitted things which are disgraceful to discuss and matters which would distress certain people.” Ishaq:691

CAN CIVIL MUSLIMS ADVOCATE BEFORE ZEALOTS SET LOOSE?
“’The gathering climate of suspicion and mutual mistrust, exacerbated by the lack of engagement and dialogue, threatens to marginalize and alienate some Muslim Americans to the point where the danger of radicalization of a small minority could become a real possibility,’ the Chicago Council on Global Affairs report says. ‘It would take only a single, significant act of terrorism in the United States involving Muslim Americans to cement the impression that rampant radicalism has taken root within the community.’”
Note: “’only a single, significant act of terrorism. . .to cement the impression that rampant radicalism has taken root.’”
The Council calls on civil Muslims to carry the heavier end of the responsibility stick. It is up to them to cement in America civil relations before zealot Muslims set loose carnage. That carnage could spread widely and deeply to destroy this republic.
That is the crucial confrontation now facing this free nation. Will a single blowup start the domino falldown of others which will alarm citizenry to conclude that America has become another Iraq potential?
“’This is a group that is half-Muslim, half non-Muslim that came together because we believe that America is losing by not having the appropriate involvement of Muslim Americans in the civil discourse of politics,’ said task force co-chair Lynn Martin, a former Republican congresswoman and secretary of labor in the George H.W. Bush administration. ‘This is not whiny. This is not about what’s wrong. What it says is, here are some potential solutions.’”
In Iraq, street killers under Allah win. No peace politicians or agencies can quell street killers intent on blowing up themselves and others. Sudan is ablaze. So is Darfur. So is the Middle East. So is Afghanistan. Will that occur in North America?
It could.

Muslim Immigration: A Winning or Losing Proposition for America?

Muslim Immigration: A Winning or Losing Proposition for America?
By Glen Reinsford
Pardon the crude analogy, but what if someone handed you a revolver with one bullet and five empty chambers and asked you to put it to your temple and squeeze the trigger? Would you indulge them?
If you are a sane person, then you would naturally decline the offer, regardless of the number of empty chambers. Even a one in a hundred chance of doing harm is hardly a reason, in and of itself, for taking an unnecessary risk.
Consider the similarities to Muslim immigration:
1) In most cases, nothing bad will happen.
2) In some cases, it will.
3) The risk increases as the process continues.
4) There is an utter pointlessness to the whole affair.

The Fairness doctrine on freerepublic.com

Questions From Islamberg Answered
(Q) On September 11th, about 100 MOA Boy Scouts belonging to MOA/IQOU were assisting the rescue and relief effort, on site, at Ground Zero, World Trade Center. They were surprised to learn, later, that some 4000 Jews employed at the WTC were conveniently absent on the 11th of September. The glaring question arises: How is it that they all came to be absent on that fateful day?
(A) Where is the proof that 4000 Jews did not show up for work?
(Q) Who were those people arrested on the New Jersey side by the FBI while videotaping the crash of the airplane?
(A) They were people being arrested.
(Q) Why did building No. 7 collapse when it was clear that it was not hit by any airplane?
(A) Is it not logical when 2 huge skyscrapers collapse from jetliners flying into them, other buildings would not fall as well ?
(Q)Put the responses on your website and let the American public decide for themselves who the real terrorists are.
(A) The terrorists are the Muslim Muhajadin killing in places around the planet such as ...
India and the Sudan and Algeria and Afghanistan and New York and Pakistan and Israel and Russia and Chechnya and the Philippines and Indonesia and Nigeria and England and Thailand and Spain and Egypt and Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia and Ingushetia and Dagestan and Turkey and Kabardino-Balkaria and Morocco and Yemen and Lebanon and France and Uzbekistan and Gaza and Tunisia and Kosovo and Bosnia and Mauritania and Kenya and Eritrea and Syria and Somalia and California and Argentina and Kuwait and Virginia and Ethiopia and Iran and Jordan and United Arab Emirates and Louisiana and Texas and Tanzania and Germany and Australia and Pennsylvania and Belgium and Denmark and East Timor and Qatar and Maryland and Tajikistan and the Netherlands and Scotland and Chad and Canada and China .
(Q) are the Muslim Boy Scouts of MOA/IQOU to be feared or rather those shadowy ‘insiders’ who destroyed these buildings?
(A) Who are the 'insiders' you refer to ?
(Q) Their hope, to bring about a clash of civilizations, in order to realize their global empire, failed. And so too, their aim to blame the Muslims, will fail.
There is no benefit for American Muslims to destroy their own country or civilization and to clash with their Christian brethren.
Our university has been busy developing very close ties with many Christian groups, We work hard to promote co-operation and peaceful dialogue between Muslims and Christians.
(A) Who is building the global empire, to what people do you refer ? I blame Muslim terrorists, when the hold up signs saying "we're going to kill you", then they kill us. "There is no benefit for American Muslims to destroy their own country or civilization and to clash with their Chrisitan brethren." Of course there is, if it benefits Islam and that one day America will become dar al islam, instead of dar al harb.
(Statement) Our university has been busy developing very close ties with many Christian groups, We work hard to promote co-operation and peaceful dialogue between Muslims and Christians.
(Reply) Wonderful, and while doing this , you claim that 4000 Jews did not show up for work when Muslims flew planes into buildings.
Just of note, I'm not a Jew. Please visit www.jtf.org , look up mosquewatch.
Email From Islamberg
According to several accounts, Islamberg men, women, boys and girls pitched in and helped clear debris, clean people's basements, distribute food and maintain the emergency shelter where residents gathered. On July 4, the Muslims joined the rest of the community for a dinner to commemorate their shared adversity.
"We were all just overwhelmed, and I remember the thanksgiving prayer that was said to bless everyone, no matter who you are and to bring the community together. And in that moment, we were a community, we were together as one," Felber said. "I couldn't see a person that was going to be part of a terrorist group standing in a food line of thanksgiving there serving the community." . . . .

It's Islam, stupid
In his opening monologue one evening he delivered what has since become a classic bit:
"I'm not saying they're profiling at the airports these days. But if your first name is 'Mohammed' and your last name isn't 'Ali'... leave a little extra time."
He nailed it.
Unfortunately, for some reason the people who are paid to understand such things still don't 'get' the prescient truth behind Leno's timely joke.
With the exception of North Korea, every single trouble spot on the planet can be directly tied to the doctrine of Islam. Please take note that I didn't use the words 'radical' or 'militant' to modify the word Islam. Islam, as preached and practiced from it's primary source (the Koran), is quite simply incompatible with other cultures and religions. Since its inception in the 7th century, Islam has demanded that its followers submit themselves completely to the will of Allah... and that they in turn bend the rest of the world completely to the pitiless domination of Islam.
The best any non-Muslim can expect according to the Pact of Umar is a barely-tolerated status known as 'Dhimmi'... which is basically a subservient second class status in Muslim society. In short, Islam does not play nicely with others.
It's all or nothing.

SUICIDE BOMBERS IN US
Now that media has informed us that suicide bombers are branching out to America and Europe, it will be interesting to note what the Council on America-Islamic Relations has to say and do particularly via its web site.
It will also be quite interesting to note what the so-called moderate Muslims do and say. Many of these people profess to be trying to make a good life in free nations. However, their counterparts are now entering their liberty turf. What will they do if they want their peace lifestyle to continue?
Another dimension is the local mosque. Now that mosques are being constructed throughout free nations, what will mosque leaders do with suicide bombers coming into their neighborhoods? Will those mosques then reveal themselves as sleeper cells lining up with suicide bombers?
Per CP: “There’s a report that large teams of newly-trained suicide bombers are being sent from Afghanistan to Canada, the United States and other countries.
“ABC News is reporting the recruits were introduced at an al-QaidaTaliban training camp graduation ceremony in Afghanistan earlier this month. According to the network, a Pakistani journalist was invited to attend and take pictures as some 300 recruits, including boys as young as 12, were supposedly sent off on their suicide missions.
“There was no independent confirmation of the report. But the network has posted a video on its web site, which it says shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah introducing and congratulating each team as they stood.
“Dadaullah’s brother was killed by U.S. forces last month.
“ABC quoted Dadaullah as saying, ’These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places. Why shouldn’t we go after them?’”
What will Keith Ellison (D-MN), first Muslim in the US Congress, do when suicide bombers blow up parts of America? What will he do when they lay low his constituents?
Furthermore, how will suicide bombers in America influence Iraq war proponents? These
proponents will be faced with the enemy not only in Iraq and Afghanistan but also in the USA?
The argument has been to continue the fight in Iraq so that zealot Muslims don’t whip across America’s neighborhoods. But if they are in fact in the US, setting loose their carnage, why continue to stay in Iraq’s and Afghanistan’s civil war?
Is not the reality of the above that suicide bombers always win. They give their bodies to win. They don’t fear death. They taste death. Therefore, to threaten them with death is nothing. They have wedded to death as an offering to Allah.
It is a spiritual war between darkness and light. It is a soul war between the demonic death warriors and the peace-loving citizenry. This is not conventional war in which all parties seek to slay the enemy while remaining very much alive. These zealots sign up to die, not to live. That makes this conflict quite different from any others.
According to CAIR’s home page: “Ohio Governor Ted Strickland spoke last night at the tenth annual banquet of the Council on American-Islamic Relations chapter in that state (CAIR-OH).”
When suicide bombers land in Ohio, what take will Strickland decide upon after having just spoken at the aforementioned banquet?
Further posting on the CAIR web site: “The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) today announced that more than 200 people turned out on Saturday for its 1st annual banquet in Woodbury.
“The sold-out event included speeches by CAIR officials and representatives of the FBI and the ACLU, state and national elected officials such as Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), and the president of the Minnesota chapter of the American Council of the Blind (ACB).”
What will representatives from the FBI and ACLU say and do when suicide bombers start
blowing up America?
CAIR’s web site states that CAIR is against terrorism, that is, Muslim zealots. Note:
“CAIR statements on the events of September 11
“’We condemn in the strongest terms possible what are apparently vicious and cowardly acts of terrorism against innocent civilians. We join with all Americans in calling for the swift apprehension and punishment of the perpetrators. No cause could ever be assisted by such immoral acts.
“’All members of the Muslim community are asked to offer whatever help they can to the victims and their families. Muslim medical professionals should go to the scenes of the attacks to offer aid and comfort to the victims.’”
What will CAIR do when suicide bombers discount the above statement by actually killing Americans?

Hamas lists seized U.S. weapons

Hamas vowed to obtain emergency U.S. aid slated for Fatah.
Last week, Hamas took complete control of all Fatah positions and U.S.-backed security compounds in the Gaza Strip, including Fatah's major Ansar complex – where American-provided weapons were delivered and stored – and Abbas' presidential guard complex.
The U.S. in recent years reportedly transferred large quantities of weaponry to build up Fatah forces against rival Hamas. Hamas officials told WND in multiple interviews they would seize the American weapons.

America is sleeping while our enemies stay up all night planning our destruction
Islamberg: A Terror Compound in New York ... or Misunderstood Neighbors?

Islamberg got its start about 20 years ago, when — inspired by the words of the Sufi cleric Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani — a group of primarily black Muslims from Brooklyn left New York City to escape crime, poverty and racism. Aiming to lead what they believed was a peaceful and holy Muslim life, they built a community of some 40 family houses, their own grocery store and a bookstore.
And they weren't alone. Other groups, also inspired by Gilani, have set up similiar communities in 19 other states. According to the group's own Web site, the Islamberg community is still "struggling," and is asking for donations to complete its mosque.
According to locals, the land previously belonged to a Deposit, N.Y., woman who opened up her home in the in the late 1970s or early '80s to disadvantaged youths from the city so that they could avoid being led astray by a financially and morally bankrupt urban environment.
Those boys, according to locals who were friendly with some of the group, eventually went on to form Islamberg, and at some point they were joined by another group of more militant Muslims, who created something of a rival faction within the community.
The group lived quietly there for years with little interaction with the local communities except for forays into town for supplies or to sell baked goods at the weekly flea market. Some of the men had jobs at a local credit-processing center or working for the Port Authority in New York City (where they are said to maintain a residence near a bridge that runs between two boroughs).
In the few instances when they did have relationships with the locals, they were almost always friendly, many said. Sometimes local children would visit their friends in the compound.
"There was a sense of camaraderie with them," one woman said.
There was a notable exception, a situation involving the local schools in the late 1990s when some of the Islamberg boys got into a scuffle with local boys.
"They broke my nephew's nose," said a Hancock, N.Y., woman, who asked that her name not be used.
Another man said the Muslim boys "trashed" the school in Deposit.
Locals variously blamed the fighting on an angry attitude on the part of the Muslim boys, racism on the part of the local boys or the "usual" relatively trivial events that lead almost all teenage boys into a confrontation at one point or another in their lives.
According to Joy Felber, 62, a retired taxidermist who's lived in Deposit for 19 years, the cause lay with a group of local boys who picked a fight with the Muslims.
"We had some young boys in town who were causing trouble — not from the Muslim community — but they were antagonizing the boys in the Muslim community," Felber said. "It was lack of knowledge. When people don't know other people, they have a tendency to lash out. And you put two teenage boys together and sparks fly."
After a further controversy about whether the Islamberg boys should have been going to public school in Deposit or Hancock (the compound lies on the border between the two towns, and even longtime residents differ on whether it's technically in Deposit, Hancock or nearby Tompkins), the boys were pulled from the schools and the Muslim community drew away from town life.
All Islamberg children are now schooled on the compound in a school that, according to one report, has a total of 62 students.
And then Sept. 11, 2001 happened. Anti-Muslim sentiment soared throughout the United States, and in the case of the Islamberg compound, concern grew among their neighbors.
Sheikh Syed Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani, the Pakistani Sufi cleric whom the Islamberg residents call their spiritual leader, has long been suspected of being one of the founders of a group called Jamaat al-Fuqra, a group that the U.S. and Pakistan say is responsible for a long list of terrorist activities around the world, including murders of rival religious figures in the U.S.
Gilani also was the man American reporter Daniel Pearl was going to see when he was abducted and murdered.
Gilani has denied any connection with either Pearl's death or with Jamaat al-Fuqra.
The possible connection between Islamberg and extremist Islamic terrorism wasn't lost on authorities.
"We've had files on them for years," said Sgt. William Vymislicky of the New York State Police.
FBI Special Agent Richard Kolko said that he could neither confirm nor deny any current investigations, but that the bureau follows up on every reported case of possible terrorist activities.
And, according to some locals, the Islamberg community has given them plenty of reason to be wary. If you visit the compound's entry gate, you will be stopped at a guard shack by men armed with guns. And some say that you sometimes can hear gunfire or even explosions coming from the area.
"You'd better be careful if you go up there," several locals said. "They have guns."
After Sept. 11, local rumors about the compound ran rampant, from the plausible to the patently ludicrous: The compound trained terrorists for combat; there was a tank buried somewhere on the grounds; Usama bin Laden had gone into hiding in the compound.
A series of articles about Islamberg in newspapers and on the Internet further fueled the flames, and people started to focus more closely on the work the men did on New York City's bridges and tunnels, and how close the compound was to a major reservoir.
But other local residents say fears about Islamberg are unfounded. The region is a hunter's paradise, practice shooting is a nearly universal hobby in the area, and the sounds of explosions most likely come from a very nearby quarry.
"I live up on Columbia Lake and I hear gunshots all the time, and it's not from the Muslim community," Felber said. "I always hear people practicing and shooting their guns and stuff."
Of those locals who expressed fears about Islamberg, almost none of them said they had ever actually had any substantial interaction with anyone from the compound.
And though the community is noticeably less friendly that it once was, some say that it still welcomes those who make an effort to be sympathetic.
The doctor at the local clinic in Deposit, John Giannone, now fasts on Ramadan out of respect for the community's beliefs and has maintained a relatively close relationship with the group. When his house was devastated by flooding that nearly wiped Deposit off the map in June 2006, volunteers from Islamberg came down and helped him clear out the debris and clean up the rental home his family had moved into. Giannone says they even did the dishes.
That flood was one occasion when Islamberg shone, according to many.
"I couldn't see a person that was going to be part of a terrorist group standing in a food line of thanksgiving there serving the community."
But plenty of questions remain:
How close is Islamberg to Gilani?
How does it accept, reject or interpret the portions of his writings that espouse violence?
Does the community send people overseas or to other camps for training? And, if it does, exacly what kind of training?
How does the group see its relationship to the local community, and does it plan to do anything to improve it?
Islamberg's elders refused a request to visit with them and tour the compound, citing a recent spate of negative publicity.
The Religion Of Peace Loses 35 People : Hamas / Fatah Civil War

Senior Israeli officers described the Hamas victory to DEBKAfile as a greater misfortune for Israel than its Lebanon War setbacks. There, Hizballah was forced by Israeli military action to accept a UN ceasefire and international peacekeepers.
Hamas has no such incentive. In the case of Gaza, the winner takes all and can dictate terms. A radical Islamic enclave with a dominant Iranian-Syrian military presence has sprung up unopposed as a hostile reality on Israel’s southwestern border. It has made the Israeli-Middle East Quartet’s boycott an irrelevance.

CAIR MEMBERSHIP PLUMMETS
CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) is no longer attractive after 9 / 11, per The Washington Times’ Audrey Hudson.
“Membership in the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has declined more than 90 percent since the 2001 terrorist attacks, according to tax documents obtained by The Washington Times.”
CAIR is one of the major threats to America’s democracy. It has been found out to be planting fabrications on its web site in particular. These lies have pictured Islam as a peace religion while reality worldwide reveals otherwise.
Many writers who are on to CAIR’s penetration politically and socially in the US have attempted to expose its lying base. Gradually the grassroots is learning that this organization is not compatible with the American way of life.

A fatwa free-for-all in the Islamic world

For the past few weeks, the breast-feeding and urine fatwas have proved a source of national embarrassment in Egypt, not least because they were issued by representatives of the highest religious authorities in the land.
"We were very angered when we heard about the Danish cartoons concerning our Prophet," wrote Galal Amin in the newspaper Al Masry Al Yom, referring to the 2005 publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad that caused an international uproar. "However, these two fatwas are harming our Islamic religion and our Prophet more than the cartoons."
For many Muslims, fatwas, or religious edicts, are the bridge between the principles of their faith and modern life. They are supposed to be issued by religious scholars who look to the Koran and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad for guidance.
While the more sensational pronouncements grab attention, the bulk of the fatwas involve the routine of daily life. In Egypt alone, thousands are issued every month.
The controversy in Cairo has been more than just embarrassing. It comes at a time when religious and political leaders say there is a crisis in Islam because too many fatwas are being issued and many rely on ideology more than learning.
The complaint has been the subject of recent conferences as government-appointed arbiters of Islamic standards say the fatwa free-for-all has led to the promotion of extremism and intolerance. The conflict in Egypt served as a difficult reminder of a central challenge facing Islamic communities as they debate the true nature of the faith and how to accommodate modernity. The fatwa is the front line in the theological battle between often opposing world views. It is where interpretation meets daily life.
"It is a very critical issue for us," said Abdullah Megawer, the former head of the Fatwa Committee at Al Azhar, the centuries-old seat of Sunni Muslim learning in Egypt. "You are explaining God's message in ways that really affect people's lives."
Technically, the fatwa is nonbinding and recipients are free to shop around for a better ruling. In a faith with no central doctrinal authority, there has been an explosion of places offering fatwas, from Web sites that respond to written queries, to satellite television shows that take phone calls, to radical and terrorist organizations that set up their own fatwa committees.
"There is chaos now," Megawer said. "The problem created is confusion in thought, confusion about what is right and what is wrong religiously."
In Egypt, there are two official institutions responsible for religious interpretation. The House of Fatwa, or Dar al-Ifta, which technically falls under the Ministry of Justice, and Al Azhar. All court sentences of death must be approved by Dar al-Ifta, for example.
"These people in fact are defined as agencies of the government," said Muhammad Serag, a professor of Islamic Studies at American University in Cairo. "They are not trusted anymore."
While that view is disputed by officials from both institutions, everyone acknowledges that those who issue fatwas serve as mediators between faith and modernity and as arbiters of morality. They are supposed to consider not only religious teachings, but the circumstances of the time. The position is without parallel in the West, and it combines the role of social worker, therapist, lawyer and religious advisor.
In fact, the relationship between the Koran and a fatwa is a matter of dispute. Some Muslim scholars view the Koran's words and ideas as fixed with little room for maneuver. Others see their job as reconciling modernity with the text by gently bending the text to fit new circumstances.
A second issue is the basis for interpretation. The sayings of the Prophet, known as the hadiths, also serve as the basis for many fatwas. But those sayings, of which there are thousands, have been passed down orally and may or may not be legitimate. Some seek to limit fatwas to the written Koran, as a result.
"Brother Citizens, the Azhar Fatwa Committee welcomes the masses of citizens and announces that fatwas are free of charge and of fees." The sign hangs on the back wall of a small room that serves as a fatwa center for Egyptians looking for guidance. Tucked just inside the entrance of the historic Azhar Mosque, the center is open six days a week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is a worn room with a soaring ceiling, tattered black couches patched up with packing tape and rickety metal kitchen chairs. Five sheiks sit on the couches and receive people.

Chapel Hill jihadist apologizes

In the letter dated May 20 and sent to Orange County Superior Court, Mohammed Taheri-azar said he is "very sorry for the crimes which I committed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on March 3, 2006. I sincerely regret what I did on that day. Please release me from state custody so that I may pursue my goal of living a productive life in California."
Taheri-Azar, 23, said he hopes to work for his father's general contracting company in Anaheim, Calif., and "re-establish myself as a good, caring and productive member of society."
In the letter, Taheri-Azar also apologizes for his actions March 5 of this year in the courtroom, when he said he hated all Americans and Jews and called his attorney a moron.
"I ... apologize for my distasteful conduct in your courtroom on March 5, 2007. I promise you that I will never again in my life display such poor, ignorant behavior," he wrote.
Afterward, Public Defender James Williams said his client "has a severe mental illness."
Taheri-azar pleaded not guilty in January to nine counts of attempted first-degree murder and nine counts of felonious assault. He struck nine people as he drove a rented SUV through the Pit, a campus gathering spot.
UK: Mosque funding madness

Ihsan Mosque in Norwich posts some pretty strong stuff on its website, including an anonymous blog that sneers at “democracy’s decomposing entrails” and calls on Muslims to “anticipate and pursue the demons in our midst”.
But those demons presumably do not include the Churches’ Commission for Racial Justice, whose Racial Justice Fund subsidises children’s holiday activities run by the Ihsan Mosque.
I discovered this when I read the fine print of the risibly politically correct media pack produced for the Churches’ Racial Justice Sunday on September 9. This describes Ihsan Community Project as “a vibrant voluntary project started by a group of Muslim women… who wanted to make a positive contribution to the wider community both as Muslims as well as Black people. Ihsan provide holiday projects for local young people, theatre workshops, education outreach in local schools…”.
Outreach?
I bet it reaches out, given the vigorously proselytising nature of some of the mosque’s material. As for education, I wonder if that will include the claim, posted on Ihsan’s site, that non-Muslims who insult Mohammed are guilty of a crime or that Tony Blair is a “major prima facie war criminal”.
Ihsan, I should add, is not an Islamist mosque: its members are mostly British-born converts to Islam who condemn terrorism. (I think they are Sufis, though they do not say so on the site; also, the pictures suggest that a majority of converts are white, so I’m not sure where “racial justice” comes into it.)
Whether that makes Ihsan “moderate” is another matter.
Under the “resources” section of the website, the mosque advertises a book showing “how the Muslim community alone can identify the enemy of Islam and life itself, indicating the bankers as the force to be stripped of their power and their magical usury expropriation of our wealth.” Doesn’t sound terribly moderate to me.
What I don’t understand is why the Churches' Commission for Racial Justice, funded by the Church of England, the Roman Catholic Church and the Free Churches, should be offering financial support to Ihsan’s holiday camps. Any ideas?

Private undercover team exposes nationwide network of radical, anti-U.S. Islamic centers

“Our initial investigation has concluded there are between 400 to 500 radical Islamic centers in the U.S.,” said David Gaubatz, the director of counterintelligence and counterterrorism for the Society of Americans for National Existence. “In those places, they preach an extreme version of Islam that says America and the West is the enemy. They espouse violence, hatred and the need for terrorism.”
Gaubatz is a former senior U.S. intelligence official, who now works for the Mapping Shari’a in America Project (www.mappingsharia.com), which is supported by SANE, a national non-profit group devoted to investigating the 2,300 Islamic centers in the U.S. for extremist activity.

Albanian Muslims Welcome President Bush With Open Arms

During his recent tour last week of several European venues that included Rome, the Vatican, Prague, and the G8 summit in Germany, the president, an ardent Christian, was received, at times, by massive demonstrations staged mostly by youth protesting his presence - and policies - in those very Christian cities and countries.
It was, instead, Muslim Albania - Europe's largest Muslim country (not counting Eurasia's Turkey of course) - that reserved a warm - indeed, the tour's warmest - welcome for the American leader. Dogged by protests during much of his European trip, Bush, nonetheless, was received enthusiastically June 10 in Albania, a former xenophobic Stalinist country, now eager to show that it remains one of the staunchest US allies in Europe.

'It was a bomb explosion and body parts have been thrown apart,' policeman Gabriel Omondi told AFP after the blast in front of the crowded City Gate restaurant on Moi Avenue, one of Nairobi's main streets.

Jihad Etiquette: The Guidebook for Taking a Life

“He’s American?” one of the militants growled. “Let’s kidnap and kill him.”
The room fell silent. But before anyone could act on this impulse, the rules of jihadi etiquette kicked in. You can’t just slaughter a visitor, militants are taught by sympathetic Islamic scholars. You need permission from whoever arranges the meeting. And in this case, the arranger who helped us to meet this pair declined to sign off.
“He’s my guest,” Marwan Shehadeh, a Jordanian researcher, told the bearded men.
With Islamist violence brewing in various parts of the world, the set of rules that seek to guide and justify the killing that militants do is growing more complex.

Email From Islamberg ?

Salaams,
Well Mosquewatch, I was really surprised to receive your reply.
Thanks for talking to me.
I would like to invite you up here to see Islamberg and the way that
we live. I am certain that you will be convinced that we are not a
threat to America. We are American Muslims whose community
originated in the East New York section of Brooklyn, New York. We as
a community decided to move and create this community to get out of
the cities and take our children away from the crime and sin that we
lived around.
There was blatant prostitution and drug use right in
our buildings. People were being shot at etc. etc. (Just think of
your worst case ghetto and you'll get my point).
We live very simple lives up here. Our children go to public schools
and some of them are homeschooled. The adults have jobs in the
neighboring towns. We garden, fish and do all of the things
that "regular" Americans do.
I promise you that if you (or your
radical friend Mike Savage) visited here, you would no longer call
this a compound but you would refer to it as the community that it is.
Please take my invitation seriously.
Thanks again for your reply.
Maryam
P.S. I can give you the names of the tow companies that we called
that would not take this school bus out of here. By the way, in one
of your blogs you mentioned that fact that we shouldn't even have a
bus because our Sheikh claims that we have our own schools. Wouldn't
we need a bus to go on outings? Why do churches have buses? Why is
it that when Christians or Jews establish their own places to live,
they live in what is called communities and we live in compounds?
Can we stop the hate speech and the petty talk and really get down to
business? Pleasse consider vivisting us. I am offereing you (and
Mike Savage) a chance to speak to us directly, face to face, no holds
barred.
Thanks Again.
MY REPLY
Hi Maryam,
I was cruising through the ton of "I have been awarded millions of dollars, I need your bank account number." on the great yahoo email system and was glad I saw this before I deleted the 99% of idiocy I recieve. You make great and valid points about wanting to move away from high crime areas. That I can not disagree with. No person needs to be in such a horrible environment where rampant drug use, murder and prostitution runs rampant. This next text may suprise you , but I applaud the group for protecting your children from those scumbags, that would certainly be a dire threat to the children and others for that matter. I have zero use for drug dealers, prostitutes and the vermin that associate with them. On a personal issue, I have lived in an area like you described with the crime etc., just not as bad. I moved.
If you would, I'd like the numbers of the tow companies, I'm in the process of getting the equipment for phone interviews so I can record them, and put them online. I want all sides of the story to be presented. Yes, I am candid and do not mince words, I am also fair .
I don't have the time off of work to actually visit Islamberg, but from some reports from the Canadian Free Press, they are claiming that visitors (non Muslims ) are not allowed into the compound. I do also realize that the FBI and some local Politicians have already visited the site for a function supporting (Muslim Boy Scouts ?) if i'm not mistaken. I have the names of the people from the FBI and the others that attented the function.
Now to the bus issue. Who threw the rocks into the windows and how did it become in such bad shape ? Did people outside of your community enter and vandalize the bus ?
One last question. Do the people in your community believe that Sharia law should be implemented in America ? Thanks for responding , and keep in touch.
P.S. Michael Savage has no idea I exist. Maybe you should call his show and talk to him about it ? Call the media, invite them. I'm just a kafir with a blog. Be well.

Islamberg: Is Town Of Islamberg Training Muslims For Beheadings, War?

Islamberg, located on the outskirts of Hancock, NY, is the subject of an investigation and book by author Paul Williams, as he revealed in FOX News interviews how Islamberg and other such "towns" have begun to flourish and the danger they pose.
The results of Williams' investigative work reveals what he describes as one of at least 40 "jihad training compound for African American converts," this one located in upstate New York, with burned out buildings, shooting ranges, obstacle courses, a bullet-ridden school bus, and a makeshift graveyard.
This is a hair-raising story, and should be a matter of great concern to every American.
Hard to imagine places like this are allowed to exist virtually unchallenged, especially in a state where a New York Senator -- Hillary Clinton, who gives herself high marks for leadership and who touts continually her tough stance on terrorism -- is running for President, and where government and elected officials who saw their state become Ground Zero for the 9/11 attacks, continue to hold office.
Williams says that the residents are "training to behead people like you and me" and that there are at least 40 such "towns" in the United States.
Once considered an idyllic remote resort setting in the Catskills Mountains in upstate New York, now Williams reports, "Nearby residents and visitors to the area rave 'they have armed guards' and 'if they shoot you, nobody will find your body.'
"'The place is dangerous. You can hear gunfire up there' ... 'They own the mountain and they know it and there is nothing we can do about it...'"
Williams report and extensive research, along with a complete walking tour of Islamberg and his on-scene description of the site is available at Canada Free Press. It is a chilling account of secret meetings with ex-convicts and cult-type leaders with guns who claim it is their right to have guns because they are Americans.

An Islamic London would be a better place ?

It’s the capital’s fastest growing religion, based on noble traditions and compassionate principles, yet Islam can still be tainted by mistrust and misunderstanding. Here Time Out argues that an Islamic London would be a better place
The noise from the expectant crowd hushed to a murmur as an open-backed lorry that had driven slowly up the Mall – known since the Islamic revolution of 2021 as The Way of the Martyrs – nudged its way through the thousands gathered in Mohammad Sidique Khan Square. On the lorry, two masked guards held a young man, black hood over his head; a quiver running through the material suggested he knew what was coming.
The lorry halted by the plinth that had once held Marc Quinn’s sculpture ‘Alison Lapper Pregnant’ – long since removed as an insult to decency – and was now the place of public execution. A rope noose attached to a wire cable hung from a mechanised hoist. The main doors of what had been the National Gallery flung open and an Imam walked down the steps of the new Institute of Islamic Jurisprudence, opened only a week before by Sultan Charles, Prince of Islam and protector of the faithful in England.

The world has not produced such an accepting Muslim society, save for possibly Turkey, that the author writes about. Until Islam survives its own version of the Reformation, I hope that my friends across the pond do not suffer such a fate described by the author.

"Considering a move to the States now - seemingly the only sane place left on the bloody planet. They're working overtime to surrender to the islamonazis in Iraq, tear our borders wide open, give amnesty to illegal aliens, and ...Sane? Maybe relatively speaking, but not so much anymore.

This article has to be the dumbest thing I have ever read. And I grade essays written by college freshmen for a living. One could spend hours refuting the ridiculous fallacies and revealing omissions that abound in this pile of tripe, butI have to assume that Mr. Hodges is mentally handicapped in some way, and thus such mockery would be in bad taste.

with this kind of provocation, it won't be long until normal people understand it's ok to express that western culture is superior. Demoralised westerners just need a shock or two to overcome the PC crap we've been force fed over the years. Better start studying your "Quotable Churchill".

rc at 22:32: You said--"Turkey gets close, but that's only proportional to its nonsecular leanings."No it doesn't. Turkey still sucks. I lived there. Sure, there are some places, like Izmir, that are VAGUELY reminiscent of some of Europe's dirtier cities (I mean really dirty). Move anywhere east or away from the larger Mediterranean resorts, and it's still a filthy, backwards dump, with the "nice" people cutting up animals on their front porches and women getting beaten for being too unislamic. You also won't see many women driving anywhere outside the major cities. It's still backwards. So the original point stands--where ever Islam dominates, society is a failure. It's the religion of tribalists.

Why not do an article on London being Jewish? You'd have better health, higher education, greater accomplishment, less crime, less alcoholism (alcohol is drunk in extreme moderation). Notice I said "Jewish" not "Israeli." So do an article like that and see how upset your readership gets. Then you can do an article on anti-semitism.

Iraq : Will 18 months matter ?

It’s barbaric to continue this sending US troops to referee an extremist killing cult in Iraq.
Therefore, I totally agree with presidential candidate Chris Dodd when he informed media that the “United States cannot afford to wait for President Bush’s successor to end this war in Iraq,” per AP.
“’We really can’t wait another 18 months,’ the U.S. senator from Connecticut said while campaigning. ‘We have to have the convictions to stand up to this president.’”
It is not patriotic to remain in Iraq. It’s carnage. Further, it’s totally unjust to send American humans into a grinder in the name of “peace” and “democracy.”
America should have never begun this conflict. Now it is paying in blood. It is not only illogical but cruel to continue mailing out young people in uniform for the purpose of being blown to bits.
Further, the war will never end with extremist Muslim conclaves bombing one another. Witness the Middle East. Witness Sudan. There is no end in sight to extremist Islamics killing one another.
So it is in Iraq and Afghanistan. When will this simple Islamic theological tenet get into the Western minds?
Western leaders had no idea what they were opening up when they set foot in Iraq.
Now gradually the hellish facts concerning Islam are getting out to the grassroots.
University of Michigan to Build Muslim Foot-Baths with Public Funds
The university claims the stations are needed to accommodate Muslim students, who must ritually wash their bodies -- including the feet -- up to five times each day before prayers. But critics hit conservative blogs and radio airwaves Monday to argue public money shouldn't cover the cost.
"Technically, they've got a problem, because it's public money they're using to pay for this," said Hal Downs, president of the Michigan chapter of Washington, D.C.-based Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
"It's one of those issues that we're going to be facing more and more in this community."
[...]
Gallagher argued taxpayer money won't be used for the foot baths because the $100,000 total bill for the bathrooms is underwritten by a fee students pay for building maintenance.
But Downs countered the move appears to violate the establishment clause of the First Amendment, which prohibits governments from favoring religions or subsidizing them.
